The 2013 British Superbike Championship begins on the weekend of 6th & 7th April with the first round at Brands Hatch. The weekend sees the debut of the new Rapido Sport team comprising of riders Matteo Baiocco, competing in the premier BSB class, and Lee Johnston, contesting the British Superstock Championship, on board the stunning new 1199R Panigale.
Also joining the fray in British Superstock on the 1199R Panigale will be the 2012 Ducati TriOptions 848 Challenge Champion, Robbie Brown. The 848 Challenge also returns to BSB for another season and will see crowd favourites Darren Fry, Leon Morris and Mike ‘Spike’ Edwards again doing battle in this closely fought Championship that continues to absorb and excite race fans.
To support the 848 Challenge and teams in BSB and Superstock, Ducati UK will debut a new hospitality unit in the BSB paddock this year. The unit has been designed to produce a vibrant and involving atmosphere for customers and fans to enjoy the racing pedigree of Ducati.
The unit will feature a high standard of interior design including a Ducati Caffe and walls decorated with historical imagery celebrating Ducati’s heritage. The unit will also feature a display of Ducati Motorcycles from the 2013 range as well as a selection of Ducati Apparel.
Hospitality guests will be greeted by Ducati staff and will enjoy a luxurious environment to relax during and between races. Pre race day visitors will be treated to lunch and dinner whilst breakfast and lunch will be supplied during race day with the help of a full time staff of Hosts/Hostess, Chefs, Baristas and waiters. There are various packages available, including a full weekend of hospitality to just the main race day.
The Ducati hospitality, which seats 100, will be more than just somewhere to relax, there will be rider interviews, technical talks etc, and former riders such as Neil Hodgson, Paul Smart and Niall Mackenzie and others who will be the celebratory host to create an engaging and involving time for those joining us at one of the nine races during the season.
Not only will there be an opportunity to sample the atmosphere and thrill of a British Superbike meeting, but there will also be a chance to book places with us for the World Superbike Race at Donington where the hospitality unit will be situated in a prime viewing location of the Foggy Esses.
